Sagoth Fantastic 90s inspired melodic death metal with killer sound. It's heavy, crunchy, thunderous yet crystal clear. Vocals also shines here. Favorite track: Red Half-Light.

Warangelic Love it. Sounds modern but the guitar tone and the vocals are reminiscent of the Scandinavian melodic death metal scene. Really well thought out. And that Edge of Sanity cover is a great bonus. Favorite track: Faces Under Masks.

Travis Niemeyer I stopped writing blurbs for a while. But this album has inspired me to maybe start again, beginning here. The early-Amorphis, later-Avulsed, and of course EoS mix of sounds here is phenomenal. I am not the proponent for melodeath I was in the early naughties, but always take note when it's done with some umph. This will be in my rotation quite frequently, I can tell.

Nekobibu Scratches that itch for early/mid 90s Scandinavian somewhat melodic death metal. Except they're Russian. And very good at what they do. Very good.
Oh, and the Edge of Sanity cover is not what you would expect at first. 👍
